The California Department of Developmental Services provides services and supports to help Californians with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families live the life they choose in their communities.

DDS coordinates services for Californians with developmental disabilities through 21 regional centers, which assess eligibility, provide case management, and arrange services outlined in each person’s Individual Program Plan.
